Job purpose: 

To play a crucial role in optimizing inventory processes, ensuring accuracy, and minimizing costs while maintaining adequate stock levels. To Collaborate with various departments to streamline inventory operations and contribute to the overall success of the organization. 


What do we expect from you: 



Key responsibilities: 


  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels to meet customer demands while minimizing excess stock. 
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits to ensure accuracy. 
  • Analyze and report on inventory turnover rates, slow-moving items, and obsolete stock. 
  • Coordinate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment. 
  • Manage backorders and stock allocations to meet customer commitments. 
  • Utilize inventory management software and tools to analyze data and make informed decisions. 
  • Generate reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as fill rates, stock-out rates, and inventory turnover. 
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory control processes and reduce costs. 
  • Implement best practices for inventory accuracy, including barcode scanning and RFID technology. 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to inventory control and record-keeping. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of inventory transactions. 
  • Work closely with sales, finance, and production teams to align inventory strategies with business goals. 
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to share insights and address inventory-related challenges. 



What do you need to perform your role: 

  • To perform your job successfully, you need to have the following minimum requirements: 
  • Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field. 
  • 4 to 5 years of experience in inventory control or management. 


Skills and Knowledge: 

  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
